My mom and I had an interesting conversation the other day when I got home from work:
Mom: Would you like a turkey sandwich?
Me: Toasted and made with love and tomatoes?! :D
Mom: How about not toasted with no love, but with cheese?
Me: Okay! :D
Mom: *makes the sandwich*This was made with mild disdain.
Me: *inspects sandwich* It’s toasted, and it has cheese, but no tomato.
KC (upon seeing me eating the sandwich): Can you taste the love?
Me: No. :(
I would eat that sandwich.
